Replay 1, 2 turns: Get to go 1st, exactly what the deck was meant to do. The deck has a ton of draw power making it perfect for always replenishing it's backrow each turn or just killing opponent on turn 3. Ofc its against a deck that WANTS to banish but whatever the point is made.
Replay 2 vs Korean player, 2 turns: Forced to go 2nd vs Anti-Meta, doesn't matter this deck literally thrives against your floodgates and Barrier Statues. Have you seen the attack of my Vanilla?
Replay 3 vs Japanese player, 8 turns: Forced to go 2nd, both players have Maxx C every turn and you see why Suship always wins in a Maxx C mini-game.

Suship! 🍣 x 🚢

Background of season/short vent: I actually really hated this month. I tried 3 different concepts for Suship as well as Monarchs, To\nons, Subterror, and Myutant all without being able to make Master 1. It is 2 hours before the season ends and I finally made Master 1.

Anyway, vent over, this deck goes 1st. Thats it, win the coin toss and win the game. The deck does not lose to Maxx C. It specifically counters Snake Eyes. If you go 2nd the goal is to maxx Zeus, crack board, and set up backrow which is acceptable enough that with the going 1st potential the deck has >50% win rate against Sneyes.

The way I wanted to play this deck ideally was break board and either go for game or maze Zeus and win turn 4. However this just doesn't work. The Snake-Eyes deck is SO RECURSIVE with its resources. Zeus does next to nothing to them. Or you break their board but it doesn't matter as Flambergh just summons 2 monsters that then summon another monster and search 2 cards. If you are looking to make Master 2-3 this is a very fun way to play the deck though, the preffered modality I found was SPoly + Triple Tac/Talents + Evenly and then one of spells (Raigeki, Harpie's, LStorm, Change of Heart etc).

Changes to consider:

TTT is kind of a brick since the idea is to go 1st, but in the rare instance of Maxx C / Ash you can just not play into it and read your opponen's hand.
Helios is a brick but its one of my favorite cards and this deck is rank 4 turbo so 🤷 .
Make it blind 2nd and have more fun than I did.
Unexpected Dai vs Painful decision is a very tough call. Dai plays into Maxx C, but Painful is countered by your own Macro. I found few games lasted until turn 5+ so I chose Painful myself.
Springans engine is a very synergystic idea that can play around Gozen.

It's mainly UDF Turbo. Pray you get some way to summon two level 4's, go into Merrymaker, send a level 4 to grave, go into "Champion" Sargas, grab Tally-Ho, detach 3, search the other level 4, bring back Merrymaker, make Vepartu and then UDF from Vepartu and Merrymaker.

Captain Sargas is there so your Tally-Ho's don't brick. If you have Tally-Ho in your starting hand, grab Regulus with "Chapion" Sargas and you are far better-off than you can regularly expect.

I'm doing a writeup on Gunkans presently, but this is my currently preferred variant. I'm in the Gunkans channel on the MDM discord and the Gunkans discord, and I'd love to talk about the deck more with people trying to make it more consistent. If we can get a way to consitently see Regulus on the field with "Champion" Sargas and UDF, I think the deck has enough interaction to succeed.

This deck has allowed me to breeze from Plat 1 to Diamond 3.

This deck plays well under the current meta : it's not shut down by Dim Shifter / Fissure (though keep in mind that Painful Decision cannot properly resolve with them up), it can walk over Tear with Lava Golem, has a good matchup against Floo and Exosis. Also people tend to play as if everybody was on Tear, so weak boards with Abyss / Shenshen / Dim Fiss pass made climbing pretty easy.

The goal is simple : blindly go second and OTK the opponent. Kaiju whatever they have up and go for lethal. Utopia + Double or Nothing is (as long as they have something with 2000 ATK or less) 8000 damage. And even if they survive, you should have something else to finish the job (typically Super-Dreadnought).

The Adventure package baits a lot of negates, and if established Gryphon Rider should guarantee the OTK. People tend to interrupt it without hesitation, which should leave you free to do your Suship lines. The deck plays well under 1 or 2 interruptions even, its biggest weakness is backrow. However it seems that most people absolutely want to interrupt you in MP1, so Super-Dreadnought should have you covered.

Small World is the most important part of this deck. Basically everything bridges into everything. Usually if you don't have it in your starting hand you will go grab a Shari (Red), and if you do often Water Enchantress is a good option. You can even grab a Golem or Kaiju if the opponent makes the mistake to let it resolve.

Changes I would do if I had the UR points would be adding a second TTT instead of unexpected Dai and Zoodiac Drident. Adding Dim Shifter might also be a good option, but in this case you might want to replace a Painful Decision by an Unexpected Dai. The Shirauo Xyz is completely useless here.

Is this possibly the absolute stupidest tear deck on the list? Yes. Am I confused as to how I got a 5 winstreak? Yes. Is it funny? Yes.

I guess the deck does have its benefits. The tear engine allows for the sushi to be recycled from the grave, which helps the problem I sometimes ran into of running out of resources. The suships are aqua, so that gives extra materials for tear fusions. More level four bodies means abyss dweller more often so that's pretty cool.

Both engines are pretty good at not using their normal summons so endboards have quite a bit of versatility. Don't be afraid to put an xyz in the extra monster zone because sometimes that 5th monster zone is just what you need to finish up an insane board.

A pretty standard Adventure Suship build with a Mathmech engine to improve your turn 1 endboards. Swapped from Magikeys to Adventure because Adventure is better going second. I'm running 2 Ikura/Shirauo/Dai/TTT because you dont want to open multiples copies of any of them. A Synchro 8 is used to clear your own Mathmechs if you can't make UDF and I found Omega to be the best one in this meta. Vespenato can be put on top of Dugares after using its effect which is sometimes necessary to OTK, or you can just put it on top of any rank 4 to ensure you dont get OTK'd yourself. The Gaia XYZ you put on top of the Uni XYZ after attacking directly with it to make a 4 mat Zeus. Bagooska sometimes comes up, but I didn't find the space to run it.

The Mathmech combo: Any 2 lv 4s into Alembertian, Alembertian search Circular, Circular send Nabla to GY to special summon itself, Alembertian tribute itself to revive Nabla, Circular search Superfactorial, Nabla tribute itself to summon Diameter from deck. You can then either Synchro into Omega or XYZ into Vepartu to make UDF.
