everyone says "ghostrick fans will be mad", when in reality, its 2/15 comments that are only slightly against it lmao Thanks for sharing!

I was trying so hard to be the first to hit diamond 1 with ghostrick. Its impossible. But running this many ghostricks MIGHT do the trick if your patient enough.

Gg wp, I'm happy to see ghostricks reach D1 since people always talk **** about them. I do think though that your engines kind of work against each other, like dogmatika shutting you off from the extra deck, scorpio+ not working with adventure and shaddolls slowing the game down and possibly not allowing you to get UDF in a speedy manner. Wouldn't a Phantom knights base with cherubini be better since it ties, your engines, rank, level and playstyle?

There is some anti synergy in the deck but it is not a really big deal, scorpio/adventure is one but in that case you just decide which one gives you a better endboard, predaplants searching fusion destiny and going full combo for UFD is really strong, and the dogmatika engine locks the extra deck but you just do that last, which is why there are 3 Maximus, in the first example, predaplant searches FD, goes for full UFD combo, then special summon maximus, then activate FD, and lastly activate maximus effect send Titaniclad and Apkallone, pitch a ghostrick card, you end in 2 monster negates a pop and winda. You can play around the locks in the deck, but it is true that you get really punished if you mess up the order. I tried a phantom knight version but if you go for rusty bardiche and try going for UFD the endboard is worst and in the long run you end up not using the ghostricks.

I see, thanks for the explanation. Forgot that fusion destiny can also be searched with the preda engine, so this is actually quite interesting since it makes it a sudo verte, scorpio is at 3 in tcg I hope it becomes so in MD as well.
- About phantom knights.
I don't know how it works with adventure but without it I can pull 3 negates and a pop, one of which is apollo, 4 if I also draw imperm and I'm pretty sure I have managed at some point to get a rank 4 out as well in my case Time thief. So Its probably cause they can't use that many engines at once since both apollo and adventure rely on cherubini, and I do use tour guide so its easier to be interrupted.
- Still thanks again for the explanation, it's less bricky than I thought.

Additionally to my second comment. I'd like to thank you for showcasing combo ghostricks (combotricks?), another person named trevor reached D1 with control so now both control and combo have a list giving a complete picture of the archetypes strengths. This will hopefully stop people from fighting....which seeing the comments they didn't. but at least now at least 2 of the people that criticized you look incredibly silly. :) Gg wp lad, gg wp let none tell you this isn't a ghostrick list.

Ghostrick fans coming at you mad because you are barely playing main deck ghostricks and calling it a ghostrick deck despite the fact that this is objectively the better way to play ghostrick in 3...2...1...
In fact, this might be too many main deck ghostricks. I would wager that shot is the only main deck card that does anything here.

You might be right but at this point it's like saying anyone running 3 maxx c is playing a maxx c deck. this deck is adventurer/dpe good stuff

- The ghostrick cards in the main help you link climb to verte leaving a ED monster in the grave for Maximus, also, they are good discard because you can get them back and set them with scare, it is an additional disruption.
- I do not agree with your example, because the main purpose of the deck is to use the angel/alucard engine, also you have follow up with ghostrick shot, it's like saying that an invoked-dogmatika-shaddoll should not have shaddoll in the name because there is only 1 shaddoll card in the main deck. I understand that this is closer to a pile but the deck uses the ghostrick cards almost every game.
- Yes, I am not using a lot of main deck ghostrick cards, but if you try to build a good ghostrick deck that does not fold to a single disruption you will reach the conclution that the less ghostrick cards you play the better, still, I tried to squeeze the ones that I think are the best.

what's your point ? just because pure ghostrick decks are terrible doesn't make a deck playing 5 ghostrick cards a ghostrick deck if that's a ghostrick deck, that's a dogmatika deck aswell if that's a ghostrick deck, that's a psychic deck aswell if that's a ghostrick deck, that's a danger deck aswell if that's a ghostrick deck, that's a shaddoll deck aswell

Yeah all of those are engines, and they are impactful on their own but the main purpose of the deck is using the ghostrick engine, and you use it almost every game, The ghostrick xyz's have something unique from any other archetype, They can put 2 non-number xyz monsters on the field with any 2 level 1,2 or 3 monsters by giving you card advantage in the process, this deck tries to exploit that interaction with other engines.
