Notes & Combos

What happens when all the pet decks have XYZ in them? Break out the ladder-grind deck and strip it down to the Synchro skivvies. Not having Link Charles or Isolde really hurts but you can still set up an Angelica's Ring board with a Gearfried somewhat reliably thanks to Infernoble Knight Roland's graveyard effect. Threat of a Charles pop on top of the ring and somewhat sticky bodies thanks to the Knight's equips (on top of rarely fighting other Synchro players) means you'll probably have ammunition for the clapback if the enemy forces you to go first for playing Synchro.

Wayne only came up once, Chenying and Trishula are simply things I had laying around without making extra Baronne copies to fit a possible 9/10 Synchro. If you have other options, feel free to use them, just be aware that you're Warrior-locked if you use Ricciardetto's revive or Museum's equip-summon without having Charles on board. Feel free to pivot out the odd Extra Deck choices to your liking.

What are the combos you use or do you have replays to watch? I have no idea what to do with the deck synchro only.

I couldn't remember to save the replays, unfortunately, for Duel Triangle. But in general you want access to Ogier and either Renaud/Oliver. Ogier to send whatever you'd need for the line (9/10 times it is Turpin, sometimes Oliver if you have things like Almace access in hand) and special summon Angelica. Use a grave equip effect (usually Turpin, sometimes Oliver, rarely Ogier) to target Angelica, and chain Angelica's self-banish to send whatever you need to the grave (Level 1 Roland for Ring access in End Phase with Charles, Gearfried if Renaud/Almace is open). Use Museum to search an equip of choice depending on what your hand started with, and use whatever that Equip is (usually Durendal/Almace) to allow for Turpin to revive itself and go into Charles with the Synchro Roland. From there, if you had tuner access via Oliver or Renaud still, use them with a Gearfried to go into Baronne for an omni-negate and keep Charles on board with equip. Level 1 Roland fetches Ring to hand, which then equips itself to Charles in End Phase for an extra Spell negate.

It's ironically more complicated than having Link/XYZ access due to needing to be selective with what equips and what warriors you start with since you don't have Isolde to basically pick whatever you want.
