Notes & Combos

Managed to climb all the way to the Max Lvl for the first time using my favorite deck. I decided to use the Azamina Engine both for better going first and to fill the grave with spells to get the Sky Striker Cards. Some other thoughts on choices.

• Handtraps: Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit definitely came in handy when dealing with millenium cards. With all the searching the best decks do, Droll & Lock Bird also came in handy. The rest are staples that most lists use. I initially had two Effect Veilers instead of Infinite Impermanence due to using Selene in the Extra deck, but I switched due to the later having better utility.

• Azamina Engine: This deck generally wants to go second and break board, but in the case where you are made to go first you can set off a Azamina Ilia Silvia. Otherwise, Moa Regina is a good way to get extra bodies via Wanted into Diabellstar which can either aggro or link into the higher level extra deck monsters.

• H.A.M.P. : Sometimes you just need to Kaiju a tough to remove monster. Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon, Lady Labrynth of the Silver Castle, and The Unstoppable Exodia Incarnate were the primary targets.

To summarize: Go Second when possible. Start off with the Azamina cards to bait negates and test the opponent's hand. Break the board if possible. Then try to win via attaking with monsters, linking into Accesscode, or using Linkage for the OTK.
