Notes & Combos
Hello
My list is trash because I trusted the Azamina project. Which didn't work. Will explain why...
I still got the winstreak, though.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
...let's get to the list.
What? Where are the strategy and the lines? There is no strategy. You just play your hand. And with that I mean you play randomly like I do.
Besides, it's not like you'd read what I'd have to say about Branded. But even then, there wouldn't be space here. Eh, who cares
List
- Tragedy - You want Tragedy everywhere but around. It exists only to be sent by effect or as material for Fusions. It adds Aluber or Cartesia. Unfortunately Aluber is limited so uhh, yeah... Can also revive (Set) Branded Spell/Traps, including Retribution and BraFu, but either effect disables the other for that turn, so be careful
- Edge Imp Chain - Important for the Patchwork package, which makes my list a bit less jank. Just a bit tho.
- Albaz - Normally you wouldn't think of running it at 3. Unfortunately, despite making an engine that basically never cares about him, they insist on having him around, whether the hand or GY, even banishment. In practice, we dispose of him real quick, because this dude never deserved any love. And you need 3 because God help you if you run out of activation conditions for the cards that actually matter. Like the Fusions.
- Mercourier - Thanks to Lost, it serves as a good monster handtrap. Yeah, except it doesn't work with Quaeritis. Thank you... Also gives a purpose to BiW, assuming it hits the GY in time.
- Aluber - He's at 1. He's meant to be Special Summoned. Because if he's Normal Summoned, surrendering may be closer than you think.
- Kitt - You know, things would be great if only she didn't require to also return one card to the Deck. But emergency BraFu is always good. Especially if you don't NS and SS with her own effect. Which requires Albaz. Yeah, I know
- Cartesia - Being a Quick Fusion is immensely broken, particularly the part where she enables Grang and dodges stuff better than Droplet. Because the latter requires a face up monster on their field
- Quem - She mills and revives. Anything. She also counts as Despia. Easily the most broken card, although I wouldn't run her at 3 if only because I want to see something else
- Fuwalos - I mean
- Non-Saronir/Lubellion Bystials - They work, and they do other stuff other than disrupting pretty much every Fusion deck in existence. What a great day to have them around
- Saronir - Besides being a Bystial, it mills Branded S/T for Tragedy and Retribution, or even Lubellion. I hope you don't end up needing the last one, and if you are using it for that last one when you don't strictly need it, STOP IT
- Lubellion - Enables Lost and Regained, without needing to add them. It even triggers other Bystials and works on Albaz Dragons, and adds the former. It's as absurd as it sounds.
- Ad Libitum - Some say he's not necessary. Other say he's winmore. They're both wrong, and Ad Libitum makes it so you can save Quem for better plays, including not being an Imperm-able Fusion-too revive, and not bricking hard like Hallowed. Really.
- ShrAlbion - Consider that his effect counts as "sent" by card effect, and every card that activates if being sent by him, or when in the GY. On top of all that, places Albaz where he belongs (the trash) and draws one card for you. Yeah, he's crazy strong.
Hallowed engine
The current version I have used for this winstreak list doesn't work. Here's why
- Diabellstar - She would have worked with a better engine, but that would have still not warranted, in the slightest, running Hallowed. Easily the best card of the bumch
- WANTED - What adds the above, and is added by it
- Hallowed - Without Deception, this is a garnet. And I trusted my source. Without Apprentice or Elzette
- Deception - What the deck relies on to make it work, with a drawn WANTED or Diabellstar, at the cost of Hallowed bricking
- SSOTWF - With Synchros it could have worked. Without...eh...
- Apprentice & Elzette - What should have been in the source list. But didn't. Read Mu Rcielago
- Mu Rcielago - "If this card is Fusion Summoned: You can add 1 "Azamina" or "Sinful Spoils" card from your Deck to your hand". Yeah, the engine was incomplete. I was running bricks. I'm so good at this game (no I'm not)
- Ilia Silvia - If only I had known before making the streak
the rest
- Poly - Patchwork
- Foolish - There are several targets to say the least
- GoldSarc - Activates Tragedy. If not that, Albaz can do.
- Fusion Deployment - Typically it's Cartesia, but Albaz can work too, if going second, or some weird emergency play
- BiW - At the cost of also requiring Albaz for the full effect to work, BiW is able to use the GY too, and particularly banish Mercourier for its effect. Ofc needs the help of BraFu. It also has that effect that Sets... Yeah... Cool
- BraFu - It mills by effect. And allows SLube. Do I need to say anything else to prove how this card is the most broken in Branded?
- Lost and Regained - Supporting Continuous Spells to be placed by Lubellion. Lost in particular is the most broken, but Regained helps with Chimera summons
- Super Poly - Yeah. It's legal
- Called - You can tell this will see plenty of work
- Droplet - The inferior version of what Cartesia does, but with way less interaction, able to negate multiple monsters, by sending cards...by cost. Eh.
- Opening - The "penalty" is an effect. The stuff you can do with this. Especially Aluber and then Quem
- BIHS - Sends by effect and mills Albaz and Albaz Dragons. Even better, regenerates itself when a Fusion has been sent to the GY that turn, which it does normally, thanks to BrAlb What's
- BiR - Recovers from GY and Summons in a single chain. Positively broken. Bit bricky tho, but it can be set by BrAlbion
- Retribution - Mostly to be milled and banish to recover, but it can serve as banish
- Mudragon and Garura - Super Poly targets
- Titaniklad - Can serve to summon Albaz or OTK. I'm not too fond of this but it makes Mercourier alive
- BrAlb - Very sparsely a Summoner, he's mostly to be thrown by BIHS and Mirrorjade
- Mirrorjade - Needs no explanation
- Lubellion - Main Summoner, even from banished, which can work even if made dodge with BiR, Droplet or Cartesia. Requires a discard
- Grang - Versatile supporter summoned with Cartesia, which can summon Aluber or Quem for that and the following turn
- Rindbrumm - Versatile negate with a powerful bounce and the capability to revive either itself or Albaz, at the cost of the other
- Sanctifire - Extremely strong and untargetable disruptor with a good attack
- Magnum - Good recycler thanks to Patchwork package, which can recycle and renable to draw 1
- Chimera - Destroyer of worlds and main target of BiR. Why is this legal.
- Stapelia - I FORGOT ABOUT HIM. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH Ok, that's it. I'm going a mimir
