Notes & Combos

The proudust of them all.

I think this is the new best way to play Fiendsmith control.

Reasons for certain cards and why some might be missing:

  • White Duston: Light Fiend, also he's the proudust
  • Alexandrite Dragon for
    1. the high atk (roar)
    2. the attribute (light and darkness chaos angel with any bystial)
    3. the type (seals)
  • the 3. ether beryl should probably be there, but I didn't have the dust and it's worse than the spell since it also adds imperm and veiler as chokepoints early on (I'd probably cut the second TTT)
  • I played a ton of blue-eyes (none of which respected nib) so I decided to take advantage of that in my handtrap lineup

Some tips and tricks to combo:

  • If you open beryl and one of the normals you can still activate beryl effect to send the second one from deck and chain roar to summon that one
  • Any light fiend outside of tract is sequence access thanks to m7 add back engraver search tract (even lurrie)
  • Necroquip draw 1 off of engraver or lubellion - maybe even ash - is one of the best feelings you can get

Sadly I think Snake-Eye Millenium or even Azamina is still way better than this deck but with a few more hits the proudust of them all may be able to compete
