Notes & Combos
This was not a fun climb. Had terrible coin toss luck and got drolled more times I can count. With gimick puppet running rampant as well it's a tough time to play a deck with virtually no interuption going second. Started my climb with more fun tear piles but after getting floodgated or ftk'ed every game I decided to join them and started turn skipping with the mayakashi trap. Really hate using it to be honest but gotta do what you gotta do. Hopefully tenpai gets nerfed soon so everyone doesn't feel as pressured to play floodgates. As far as the engine goes I decided to use unchained to make beatrice now that snow is limited. Works pretty well and has some fun interactions but also conflicts with left arm which was annoying at times. However if you used left arm you can summon shyama by destroying dugares for the lvl 6 body. The mayakashi trap also helps with deckouts being able to put a necroface back in grave which came in clutch frequetly.
Replays
055-305-930 Didn't save many replays from this climb so only one replay of this deck. It has a few different cards but still plays the same

How important is the unchained package in this deck? I am unfamiliar with that engine, I am wary of its fiend lock.

Its important for the level 6 access to make Beatrice. You never use sharvara's effect to pop and summon from hand. It's there as discard fodder with horus engine or to hopefully mill before escape. Besides that none of the unchained cards in this deck lock you into fiends so you don't have to worry about that. The idea is to hopefully mill or discard sharvara before you mill escape so you can set it from deck then pop it with shyama for 2 level 6s. Its not the end of the world if you mill escape first tho you just pop dugares or a spell/trap you set from hand with shyama then use mali for the other level 6 body.

When snow was at 3 the thundra cards were way better but I'm not sure about now. There are other ways you can cope and banish the thundras from grave but none of the ways I could come up with were very consistent. The unchained package has its problems too and there might be a better option but this was what I ended up going with after testing a few different things
