Notes & Combos
Techs and choices:
-
Standard superheavy build.
-
Superheavy makes an almost unbeakable board going first and can also perform well when going second because of 18x hand traps. I faced mostly combo decks, so this build was fully prepared for that.
-
I eventually dropped Belle because I wasn't facing any Lab players, opting instead for Ogre since it's very strong against the mirror. But Belle can be useful in case you're facing Lab, and also counters called by.
-
I wanted some generic hand traps, so I opted for Veiler/Crow. They are good against almost every match-up, but are very low impact.
-
Goddess is for the towers-like decks, faced some during my climb.
-
Soulhorns never came up, but it's there just in case I need to otk.
Stats:
- ~96% chance: access to full combo
- ~76% chance: at least 2 handtraps
- ~40% chance: at least 3 handtraps
Replays
There aren't many interesting replays, because most surrender after getting combo'd.
