Notes & Combos
In my opinion, heavy trap lab is the best lab variant (I mean I'm not completely sure on some of my one ofs like pot of desires being in my deck, so will maybe change that to runick engine?).
The climb was intense, because this is a very skill dependent deck, literally one mistake can cost you a game, and more often than not it DID cost me games. There's been quite a few times, when I miscount SEC and that just costs me the entire game 😭😭.
The deck also requires you to know a lot about other decks, and when to use your counter traps (you can't just jump the negates) :(( But remember, that this is a very powerful variant of lab and you have a very high winrate going first.
Things I might change/add:
- Adding D-Barrier
- Adding Runick Engine
- Removing TCBOO (this is only good against tenpai lol and I never draw it against yubel, might play rivalry next time)
Unfavourable matchups:
- Furniture/Arias Labrynth (even if you go first, you could potentially lose if they draw into coo-clock and furniture, and because they can GRIND a lot more than you)
- Chimera (Guardian Chimera)
- Random Pile Decks (WHY DO THESE EXIST)
- SE/SEFK/FK (their spell destruction) or IP:Masquerena into SP: Little Knight
- Mathmech (Primathmech Laplacian)
- Voiceless Voice (Their continous trap, that can destroy cards)
A lot of these matchups are fine if you just draw Lord going second, or draw Lord in general, but your lord might get negated and then you'll be screwed...
