Notes & Combos

Didn't think originally this deck would be able to succeed in Master Rank, but it's true what they say: you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

While still suffering from some amount of Synchron brickiness, you can just as easily wind up with multiple paths forward to Speeder, with a devastating and consistent follow-up that has enough redundancies that even if you had to take some detours to get to it, you're still good.

I include Soulgaia Booster to my Superheavy Samurai package because sometimes you want to preserve your normal summon, especially if you already have Soulpiercer in hand. It also gives you a level 4 you can summon with Wheel Synchron once your post-Speeder plays begin to make Crocodragon.

The optimal endboard entails getting Barrone De Fleur, Bystial Dis Pater, and Crocodragon out. Along the way you'll use Crimson Dragon to bring out Trishula for a handrip (Crocodragon is innately a level 9, while Wheel Synchron, Stardust Illumination, and Accel Synchron all have level modulation effects to let you hit that level) and you want to get Framelord Omega out too (most easily done by tributing some junk monster for Stardust Trail and Synchron.

Trishula, Dis Pater, and Omega account for three handrips, and provided your opponent didn't drop Maxx C or a Mulcharmy you should be able to handle whatever they have left to throw at you. Provided you have only three cards in your hand at most, Crocodragon can pop a TY-PHON if the opponent tries to use one, and you have plenty of other disruption thanks to Baronne and Dis Pater. You also have Assault Synchron in the GY, assuming you didn't use it for extension purposes, for protection against your board getting tributed since you can just bring back Dis Pater.

I know some people swear by Black Rose but I vastly prefer Ancient Fairy Dragon for its extension potential. The deck also has a multiple non-combat removal of cards so the sacrifice of a battle phase isn't really that big of a deal.

Brionac is mostly just there to help set up Maxx C punishes provided you pulled Triple Tactics Thrust from Hyper Librarian draws.

The two Retaliating Cs are kinda a player's choice. They had previously been Evenly Matched and Dimension Wall, but we're in a format where the most dominant deck runs a lot of Links. The Imperm's there as much for disruption as it is as a Crossout target.

Tw of these videos are not from this season, but it's mostly been the same decklist for a few months minus a few minor options that never really made enough of a difference to justify their continued place in the deck.
