Ended up finishing the climb a little before maintenance on the 27th.

Honestly, if I faced more Yubel/White Forest/Snake-Eyes based decks, I would have had a much worse time. If you don't open something like Maxx C/Droll (sometimes) without your opponent having an out, they seem pretty hopeless to go second against. I'm not saying it was great though, but it at least only took 58 games to clear the climb.

The Bystials were great against lower power decks, but usually couldn't do enough, even when combined with another handtrap against the top meta threats.

Only running 1 Droll right now as it usually couldn't stop my opponent enough to put me in a good position unless if they only opened like a single extender or started with Engraver for Tract. Even when going second against Yubel with Maxx C (they negated it) and Droll, I couldn't get past Blue Dog and Phantom on their own, ignoring Yama in the gy and Desirae.

  1. Going first against White Forest/Azamina. Opened no Traptrix names to get the engine going, so things were a bit rough [Holeutea - Lapis]
  2. Gong first against Branded. Even when starting with Bagooska, I still felt like I could have easily lost the game if things went slightly differently... [Bystials & Droll - all kanji]

Good games going second or back and forth games feel very hard to come by.
