Notes & Combos

This deck is a grindy, attrition deck that is spec'd to beat blue eyes which from my stats was about 54% of my games.

Explanation of each engine:

Primite: In addition to the standard package, our normals of choice are the materials for Dragoon as Blue Eyes legit loses to that one card. The only out they have to dragoon are ty-phon and sometimes indigo-eyes, both of which we have outs to. Most games we end on dragoon and that is enough to win.

Bystial: Bystials are also good right now because if you banish blue eyes or maiden often they just can't play the game anymore. You could add more bystials but if you draw too many and your opponent is on snake eyes you're probably going to lose. Saronir is the worst of the bystials for this deck which is why we only have 1, but I prefer to have more unique names instead of 3x of druiswurm because they're all HOPT. Note: we play sage so that when we go first we can normal sage, grab effect veiler (or bait a hand trap since they'll think we're blue eyes), then link into relinq and banish sage for a bystial. From there you can use relinq + the bystial to go into moon. If you end on dragoon, by starting with sage you'll have effect veiler in hand to stop ty-phon from removing dragoon.

Kashtira: Kashtira has some interactions with this deck that make it especially good. If you open fenrir + one other monsters and search for unicorn, when you go into your fiendsmith line of moon -> requiem, many people save the ash blossom for requiem. After requiem is negated your board will be empty again, meaning you can special unicorn, search birth, then re-summon fenrir. From there you can go predaplant to get dragoon or just sit on 2 kashtira + birth. We also have Shangri-Ira in this deck because the normal monsters we have are lvl 7. So a line that can come up if you open unicorn + primite engine is to use lode to grab a lvl 7 to go into Shangri, then on their turn summon Fenrir, and on your next turn Unicorn again. We also play Wraitsoth so if we find that we get to pop a card too.

Fiendsmith: Any 2 monsters is moon. You always want to do this first instead of preadaplant first to bait out any negates. FS combo will give you 2 more bodies to either go Ceaser, dragoon, or s:p w/ banish because of necroquip depending on what you need.

Once blue eyes popularity drops, I'd cut back on ghost ogre and unending nightmare. But right now both are basically auto win against blue eyes because of how they interact with true light.
