Notes & Combos
"Fiendsmith Control", more like "Handtrap and Bystial Control" lmao. We have a whopping 26 cards in the deck that can disrupt your opponent when going second. The plan with the deck is simple: do Fiendsmith things and have a hand full of handtraps. Most of the time, I go for Caesar + Lacrima and Requiem in GY so I can send Paradise on my opponent's turn. If I open Paradise, I go into Desirae instead to enable the board wipe effect. When going second, we usually prevent strong boards with all our handtraps, but if they still make one, we have lots of ways to break the board. We can go Druiswurm GY effect, Engraver on-field effect, Chaos Angel, M7, Zeus, Ty-Phon, and S:P. The whole Extra Deck sees play, but the 2nd Desirae is probably a flex spot. You could swap it with something like Almiraj or Apollousa depending on your preferences. This deck is really strong and quite easy to play. It plays really well into Blue-Eyes and opposing Fiendsmith decks. If you have any questions about the deck, feel free to ask questions down below. I'll be glad to answer them.
Some tips for the deck:
- Make sure to trigger Necroquip's draw effect whenever possible. You can do this by saving a Lubellion or Engraver in hand and then using its effect once Necroquip is on the field.
- M7 is really versatile in this deck. It can recycle handtraps, put Engraver in hand to search for Tract if you haven't used it, retrieve a Lubellion sent off of Saronir, or just remove your opponent's monster.
- If you have Branded Regained on the field, you can use S:P's effect to banish a LIGHT/DARK in GY to draw 1.
- There are two ways to use Lacrima's GY effect. The first is reviving Requiem to summon Lacrima from deck to send Paradise. The second is to revive Agnumday and then use Agnumday's quick effect to summon Desirae from GY.

All of the replays are duels against Master ranked opponents. For now, I only have a few replays, but they show advanced plays like M7 recycling handtraps, triggering Necroquip's draw effect, using S:P to draw off of Branded Regained, etc. Please check them out if you're interested in playing this deck.
