Another season of suffering a ladder of nothing but blue eyes players :Despairge: I'll be honest, the format is a bit tough since we can normally play through disruption just fine but drill beam hitting our dodge spells and untargeted removal for our normal summons is always challenging.
So not really much to say about the list this season, just had to try running as many show stoppers as possible against blue eyes since it was the only thing I ever encountered and their minimal end board is still really hard to beat. Super poly is in there to help break through their boards as well.
You may be wondering why I am not running called by despite maxx c being an instant turn skip for us? Well I felt like the turn 1 combo was already resilient enough against everything but maxx c specifically while REALLY struggling going second when I didn't see at least 2 hand traps. (yeah another one of those formats) So I cut the called by for more hand traps.
Yes, you could swap out the breakouts or a couple hand traps for called by if you really want, but I will say I lost significantly more games because I didn't have enough hand traps going second than I lost to maxx c with a hand trap instead of called by in hand.
