Notes & Combos
Long time since I last played, but EE definitely ate good with the new support. Straightforward normal summon serziel + win gameplan with a million handtraps. Really loving what basiltrice did for the deck since it lets you dodge out of some sticky situations. ED is also very flexible, I didn't find myself going into unicorn, selene, accesscode, or underworld goddess too often so those can be foregone if budget is an issue. I would recommend at least 2x of the EE links because of ED shenanigans with Kashtira. Soon we will have gossip shadow back so that'll be a great ED option to add.
I opted not to play catoblepas because it lacks a special summon from hand effect, but its reasonable to play a ratio of 1-2x basiltrice, 1x basilius, and 1x catoblepas. Regardless of ratios, its possible to make an ashura king with awakening and 2 familiars.
If you have any questions about the deck, feel free to reach out in the Evil Eye deck chat.

Kaijus are definitely frustrating, a problem that'll get worse after the release of the new pack. If you're lucky, you can generally end off with at least 2 threats on board (machinex/fenrir/basiltrice + serz) so if they kaiju one, you'll at least have the other. The handtraps are also fantastic ways to continue to interact even without serziel. I would always recommend having a basiltrice out before mp1 (unless you suspect super poly/bystial/called by ofc) since you can link him off with anything on board for gorgon even if serz is kaiju'd in mp1.
