Notes & Combos

After testing about 15 different Bystial variants and ratios to try and counter Blue Eyes and still bricking I decided to cut the Bystials to as little as possible. While Regained would probably not be a bad addition and could replace another handtrap it felt redundent and a Brick in hand when only running 2 Bystials.

This was the deck list that pulled me from diamond 5 to diamond 1 in a single day showing that "Pure" Tachyon can compete with the heavier Bystial and Trickstar Variants. Having access to a good ratio of handtraps and starters this allowed me to play through several interactions while allowing for enough disruptions going second.

The LADD spell really helps going first allowing for hand fixing and protection from the ever prevailant Imperm and Veiler which allowed me to extend my plays and set up my board going first or play through a another hard board

In some of my other lists I took for granted the Galaxy Eyes Cyphers and had originally cut them but during this climb several times being able to steal and use your opponents monster came up as the game winning play in longer matches to finally make them run out of resources.

C107 and RUM will always be my GOATs saving so many matches going second or on the third turn with the best anime comeback moments and guaranteed board negate with transmigration in hand which is why I bumped it up to three

Number 46 Dragulon was responsible for every win against tenpai during the climb and is so funny watching them not be able to do their stuff and has only gotten better if you can sus out a Blue Eyes player (Thank you Cosmetics)

This list gave me plenty of gas going first with enough flexabililty if I lost the coin flip to be able to pull out a clutch win with an OTK with Numeron or c107 and if you play it smart and bait out the ash to quote Yogurt " Never Underestimate the power of the Swartz"
