Notes & Combos
In a post-Beatrice world Pilgrim Reaper is honestly not bad, generally you can mill around half your deck turn one and hope you get lucky.
I decided to tech in Shaddoll Dragon instead of Beast since you generally struggle against back row. It actually won me the game in my rank up match going second against Primite Blue-Eyes.
For Tearlaments currently I would say that Deep Sea Prima Donna and Psychic End Punisher are mandatory as a lot of your cards can get banished with the new Primite spell and Bystials. This line was my go-to going second which is why I was running two Destrudo to help me go into it more consistently since you are milling more on average with Pilgrim Reaper.
During the beginning of the month I played Super Polymerization which I did like but the extra deck was just so extremely tight, so I preferred the flexibility that Forbidden Droplet allowed.
Nyarla and Ty-Phon are flex spots. Nyarla I liked because you can discard dead draws like Trivikarma and also go into Requiem if you happen to mill Lurrie. I experimented with Minerva and Dugares but I liked Nyarla the most.
Ty-Phon I played because you are often playing into boards and it can be a good final push if you need it but I rarely went into it. Could maybe be replaced with Necroquip or Dragostapelia.
Overall Tearlaments is extremely fun and still viable!
