Notes & Combos
Centur-Ion is finally here! I've been extremely hyped to play this deck since it was first revealed and I'm glad I finally can. I had a relatively easy time climbing through platinum and diamond with this, going on multiple 6-10 game winstreaks along the way. I tried a couple techs and engines before settling on what I have here. Gamma is a really good handtrap to have for this deck but bricking on driver is a pain. Bystials are here to counter yubel and tear as well as enable level 10 acess by banishing our own cards because Auxilla can get them back. Some stuff I wanna try in the future includes superpoly for board clearing and also enabling level 10s as well as ringowurm for, you guessed it!, easier level 10 access. (Chaos angel made with a light and a dark is makes all your synchros neigh un-outtable for most decks)
Replays
3 diamond climb highlight replays are on my MD profile. ID: 868-310-510 I hope they give you a good grasp of how the deck plays and show you some interesting rulings I didn't know about prior to this climb.

Finally a list, and a good one. I have a few questions The other trap isn't good? Another omni negate os cool, there isn't because you have not enough Monsters in s/t zone? Or because it is not searchable with the usual combo? Are vilswarm and dingirsu replaceable? Maybe with Hieratic Seal and Photon lord/hope harbinger. And finally, will i ever need three Legatia? Should i dismantle the third i found while pulling?
Thanks

-True awakening's cost of sending a card from field to grave can occasionally be detrimental because it might mean you don't have the cards to synchro summon crimson dragon, which is your most important piece of interaction. You can circumvent this by using emeth but in circumstances where you can't access emeth, true awakening isn't good. I find Phalanx to be better in a format where everything floats and destroying something might result in a worse outcome than just letting it resolve. Phalanx's GY effect to revive a centurion synchro also comes up often and is a godsend when you and your opponent are low on resources, as well as serving as a desperate piece of interruption by reviving Legatia when they don't expect it. tl;dr: you can run true awakening as it is searchable and you can afford to pay the cost by using emeth, but it might ***** you over and phalanx feels like the better card to me. -All the xyz are replaceable. I don't think I summoned either xyz at all and I also didn't find much use out of ty-phon or Zeus outside of like 2 of the 40 or so games I played. Feel free to fill up the rest of the extra with whatever you like. -The 2nd legatia only comes up in very grindy games so I highly doubt you'll ever need a 3rd. If you need a level 12 to target with crimson dragon in a pinch, you can always just use phalanx's GY effect to revive a Legatia or an Auxilla. Hope that helps! Reply here or reach out on discord if you have any other questions.

It'd be kinda suboptimal since Blazar can also negate summons and it banishing itself means they can't out it, but you definitely can run quasar. I'd also recommend you consider stardust sifr divine dragon as while it's only a monster effect negate as opposed to an omni, it gives your entire field immunity to battle and card effects once each turn.

Thank you for the list. I pulled quite a lot of cards for this deck, but never played it before. I wanted to know how do you feel about running evenly matched and super poly as board breakers? Feels like evenly matched can be quite good against yubel.

Any suggestions to replace Supernova? I really don't want to craft one, at least not right now. I have 2 Auxila and saw that some lists play 2. Thoughts on that?

Heyo, nice going! Why two wake-ups? and how do you feel about running lubellion and regained?

I think horus is better along with gamma, and use vampire r8 to search centurion. Could make photon lord if necessary, but for most times I won't discard so many handtraps :) You can also use 1 lv8 to make 2 blazar but it's too risky. You can treat lv8 as substitution to gargoyle or wake up. Two engine work better than one when facing handtraps. If first then horus absorb traps for centurion, second centurion absorb for horus(make fire king or orcust R8 then sweep). Otherwise you only have oath and field to compensate, which is weaker to one or two handtraps.

The endboard you wanna aim for turn 1 is an auxilla/legatia + stand-up (basically the set up needed to make crimson dragon on their turn), as well as centurion phalanx. If you're experementing with any extenders like ringowurm or assault synchron your board might be slightly different. I'm trying out ringowurm which replaces the set phalanx with an extra crimson dragon summon which would mean a turn 1 blazar with set up to summon another one on turn 2.

I really hope Ringowurm doesn't become a standard choice, I litteraly dismantled my playset yesterday because I had them for close to a year and they were never useful lol

What is the purpose of Synchro Rumble in this deck? There's no Level 7 or 8 Synchro Dragons in the deck to summon with it.
