Notes & Combos

This deck is Chimera Illusion archetype only, yet it's really not weaker than most variants with some other meta engine. Maxx "C" doesn't feel neither great or necessary in this deck. Playing against it is never great but you don't summon too much anyways. Hitting master with that list is rather easy if you understand the enemies decks & choke points well.

Notes:

With your ideal combo, you have summoned Chimera King, and revived Swordknight thanks to Big-winged effect and set a Chimera fusion. Then you want to set your triggers on "on" rather than "auto" because you want to use Mirror swordknight during their draw phase to +2. It's more targets for Chimera Guardian and then have Swordknight in the GY to negate without bannishing it from the field without taking that advantage. When you quick poly during enemy's turn, Chimera King is a prio material if you have used your GY negates already. His GY effect triggers ONLY during enemy's turn. If you start with a normal poly, and you can summon a fusion aka Chimera King or at least Berfomet King before you normal summon. You should always do it to either dodge or force Imperms & Veilers. Otherwise you can protect Big-winged Berfomet by using either of two other quick play polys. Alpha is fun to have, isn't a brick since he's a beast and opens to most fusions. Can board break or crash attack into Baronne de Fleur if you can't bait their negate. And he is a free to summon. Frightfur Patchwork is most of the time your best bait for Ash Blossom, I'd advise to always start with it. It's good to have it resolving but your best bait too. If you watch their response timings you can try guess what handtraps they have already. The prime target for your Berfomet King fusion effect is Nightmare Magician, you always summon it from the GY. Either by Big-winged fuse effect or Chimera King GY effect idealy during the battle phase or end phase. Chimera Illusion Best is here for OTK, create a litteral punching ball with it and usually you have access to an OTK. If not, you can negate mutliple monsters on enemy board instead. Chaos Angel and Verte are situational, Verte is mostly a bait even though you can super poly with it if they don't respond. Chaos Angel can be summoned mainly turn 3 through Garura + Edge Imp or Swordknight or Chimera Guardian + Veiler. Ash + Nightmare Magician is very unlikely. Dark Mud Dragon or Chimera King / Berfomet King + Verte effect are also unlikely materials that exist.

Whats the point in the dealmon?

This is just a generic super poly target that wins you the game if your opponent plays some really strong boards. Although it's rare to have the XYZ requirement fulfilled I admit that. You can replace him with something else if you wish to, it's a rare occurrence. Depending on the current meta he's more or less impactful.

If you only have one copy it's fine, although it's your best first summon if you start first. -1 for the opponent is very strong, even if he gets negated by imperm or veiler it's still a -1 on important cards. And then during his turn when you have it in the GY, you can revive a useful monster depending on your situation. And it's an important monster to have since just like the other two Chimera fusion monsters he is renamed so that your negates are online and can be used for Chimera the Illusion beast too.
