I love this deck so much but it really isn't good, specially in this meta. People are playing too many handtraps (thanks snake eyes), and when I tried to lower the ceiling to make it more consistent, people started playing Duster and Evenly Matched (thanks r-ace).
The deck sometimes wins 5 or 6 games in a row, then proceeds to lose 5 in a row and so on. The Lab matchup is so bad it's frustrating, specially when they half their LP with Rollback (making all Gold Pride cards lose incredible value), not to mention that Leon and Baller effects can only be used in Main Phase as well. I tried running Duster and LS to "fix" the issue and it's not worth it imo.
If you love the playstyle of this deck and the artwork as much as I do, go ahead and play it, Yugi-Oh is about playing your favorites after all. You can tweek around with ratios, please let me know if you find out better ratios, tech choices or extra deck choices, I REALLY want this deck to be good.

I think some of these changes can help with some of the matchups/board breakers but i will agree that it is extremely tough to play Punk in this format and have had the exact scenario of winning 5 games then losing 5 games and even was 1 game away from M5 last season 2 separate times and proceeded to have those 5 game loss streaks. Nytro can help with the Evenly and Kash matchup as well as PEP on opponents turn sadly with everyone Linking they all have Underworld Goddess to get rid of him or Daruma Cannon for Labrynth. I'd say normally run 1 or the other at 3 between Leon and Baller, I've always like Synchroing more so i run the 3 Leon.

Remove 2 Ogre Dance add Psychic Tacker/Wheeler and Ghost Ogre
Remove 1 Start Your Engine add 1 Nytro Head

Maybe with Horus engine like jimtsap04's deck? His doesn't have gold pride engine but would love to see PUNK+Horus+GoldPride works. Would be a killer to see 60 cards PUNK deck.
Gold Pride is not good enough to be so expensive and that makes me sad. Same with ashened but I really like all the cards. they're very cool. this version is very accessible at least nice list
Is ashened in master duel? Because I'd play them regardless of how good they are. But I also rock ancient gears sooooo...... I'm used to winning with ***** decks
oh yea, i tried running lighting storm in many decks, it never worked out... with maxx c in the game its better to run handtraps so u can draw into them and use them as they come.
good decklist the deck as potential but yes the actual meta don't lets them shine. personally i play it with the xyz armor package and in tcg with gobling biker but it need a xyz meta to shine
