The idea of the deck is to use the bread and butter sunavalon combo to get the double searches off of Jasmine then depending on your hand and what you think you're playing against end on a board with some form of negation, (Hyperiton or Drytrentiay) some form of removal, (Marjoram, Benghalancer, or Teardrop) and a rikka petal in the graveyard. This gives you a variety of types of interaction on the opponent's turn and rikka petal allows you to recover every turn as you go into the grind game. Just be careful that you don't make specifically Drytreniay and marjoram in the end board unless you have something else on top, else you risk losing all of your interaction to back row removal.
This definitely isn't the best home for grass and the deck works fine without it but it allows you to get 1-4 extra extenders, ensures you get a petal in grave, baits out negates if you have higher priority cards to resolve, triggers hyperiton to attach a spell, and lets you play some more niche searchable cards that would be too bricky while playing 40. 60 cards doesn't hurt the consistency of the deck because of how searchable sunavalon loci is being a normal monster which makes me think that playing grass is well worth it.

Probably never going to make a combo tutorial or introduction since the start of the combo is very linear while the latter half depends a lot on your hand and what you think your opponent might be playing.
The general play of the deck is
- Bait out interaction, things you don't need to actually resolve to get out ashes and whatnot
- Get loci on the field -> link into dryas -> add shrine -> use shine to bring back loci -> make healer targeting dryas
- Use an extender and link into jasmine, make sure extender goes into a zone jasmine points to (ex. link into jasmine -> trigger rose girl to summon from hand)
- Tribute the extender to summon mardel -> mardel add laurel -> link off mardel and laurel into a 2nd jasmine
- Use laurel life point gain to trigger both jasmines and search, usually adding snowdrop and an extender
- Make what you think you need, if you don't know what to go for and don't have an insane hand go for dryatreniay and teardrop, if your hand is really bad if you link into benghalancer, tribute it for snowdrop, make the rank 8 and summon back beng, not the best but it works
Even this much isn't set in stone, for a couple of examples, if you draw parallel exceed you need to make sure to make and tribute strenna, or if you use grass and it sends mardel you have to figure out how to use your mills to get enough material on the field to make what you need
All that said I don't really think this is the best introduction to the archetype, for rikka most players are going for a 40 control-oriented build, petal is such a strong card for winning out longer games, and I'm also not sure I'd even call this a rikka deck in the first place, more of a plant pile than anything and it relies heavily on the sunavalon package. However, I do think this version will get much better in the near future when sunvine sowing gets released as that will make the bnb combo not require an extender and get you an extra material on top of that.
I don't think grass is really a card that needs to be replaced, if you don't want to use any UR dust on it I'd just make cuts till you get it down to 40 cards, I would probably cut spore, rose lover, go to 1 laurel, rose girl to 1, primula, staysailor, erika, hellbore, galaxy cyclone, painful decision, tranquility, and change the ratios on lonefire and the rikka cards to you liking then finally add handtraps since in 40 cards you'll see them more consistently
