Notes & Combos
Dimension Shifter is so good feeling in this format. You throw it down on Purrely/Dragon Link and even to an extent Mikanko and they just don't seem to be able to play through it.
Arment and carpediem just don't feel great to play with Carpediem is okay against purrely but you are rarely in a position where you'll want to search it and it's bad in the hand cause it's neither an extender nor a real board breaker which you need a lot of.
2 lightning storm and 1 harpie's is fine they fill the same sort of niche and you have 6 sort of backrow removal if you add the power of evenly matched.
Most decks are not backrow decks so the heavier catering to monsters works out with the fact you technically have 11 anti-monster board breakers (DRNM, Raigeki, Lightning storm, Dark Hole and Evenly Matched)
Dark hole and raigeki are so good in this format. The vast majority of cards do not have destruction protection and thus you can destroy them with pretty much impunity.

Bricking isn't really an issue that I run into it's more often failing to break a board cause you generally are getting 6 cards and about 1/4 of the deck is starters plus you can play it a bit slower cause you have broken the board hopefully and a lot of the decks don't rebuild as powerfully.

Am I picking 1st or 2nd if I win the coin toss? What is the ideal end board if you are forced to go 1st? Why aren't you responding to these questions?

Not the author but I main exosisters. that being said this deck is going 2nd due to all the board breaking cards, exosisters excel at both going first and second but struggle to any interruption past usually one interrupt. maxx c kills you usually with giving the opponent minimum 2 cards with you ending on a bad board or giving 6 cards to end on the best board with 4 interruptions. anyway your end board usually goes as magnifica in defense (dodging lightning storm) with mikalisi and another exo xyz attached and a set returnina. if you draw returnia than having returnia and vadis set is optimal. Contrary to the author arment is actually a really good card but its better going first card as it can only play really on opponent's turn with a niche effect to be played on your turn, but as seeing how this is a going second deck it explain why you omit it because going second with it turns it to a brick. arment allows you to xyz on any single exosister monster or xyz excluding magnifica. The most optimal going 1st board just talking exo sister archetype only is arment vadis and returnia set with magnifica in defense with the materials above which leads to you haveing 4 banish interruptions and 1 monster negate with arment.
