Veiler right now needs to be paired with 1 or 2 other handtraps most of the time to stop your opponent. Purulia on the other hand can stop some decks on its own like White Forest and against other decks it can force them to give you some draws. Purulia can be useless in some matchups though like Exodia. Overall, I think taking the higher risk higher reward with Purulia is worth over Veiler...

I think running handtraps is just better than boardbreakers as turn 1 boards generate way too much advantage. Also, Superpoly needs extra deck slots something I cannot really afford plus discarding cards in this deck doesn't feel good...

Playing 3 Disablaster is not correct. This card is not part of your Cydra engine and it doesn't help you see it. Even if you are able to Dupe it, that doesn't do much by itself and you need to have engine with the rest of your hand to be able to make plays. The optimal way of using this card is to play it at 1 as a searchable extender when you need it. By doing that, you're also saving space in your deck for more important cards like Handtraps....

I haven't been playing MD because I've been busy with the new support in TCG. Maybe I'll play next season but I wanna say that Purulia is still the best option. The 2nd best option would be Ghost Ogre. Nib is not really that good and doesn't work well in this deck. You can't special summon OG because you got Nib and the Token can be a pain to get rid of sometimes. From a competitive standpoint, Power Bond is not a playable card until we get the ALIN support...
